For those who will follow Him closely, this is a year of restoration! He is a GENEROUS HEART.

Even though it is of utmost importance, following our Saviour closely doesn’t have to be stressful or painful. It can be a gentle, joyful and peace-filled walk with our Beloved’s arms around us.

This song is a sorrowful, heart-cry from the ghost of a people who have brought about their own downfall through their own foolish and sinful choices. At the same time, there is the echo of generational curses passed down from the fathers to the children. These people cry out in their suffering, confessing their own and their parent’s sins. Such heart-rending grief will never fail to move the heart of our Father God to bring about salvation.

Our parents sinned and are no more

I have often thought of Father God as being critical, demanding, and difficult to please. Jude convinces me otherwise. Papa is better than the kindest, gentlest, most understanding, most loving father on earth. He is for us, not against us. He doesn’t blink an eye when we fail; when we succeed, even partially, He cheers us on.
